Words i Never Said, simply because i agree with everything he said in the song. and the chorus by skylar grey is amazing. And plus the lyricism was so well put together.

American Terrorist was the song that got me into Lupe, so it'll always have a special place in my mind. Lu is what motivates to be a teacher.

"We are just ordinary people driven to revenge in the name of justice. But if revenge is called justice, then that justice breeds yet more revenge....and becomes a chain of hatred."

Switch from a mixtape. Best Lupe song ever!! Long live Lupe!!

Love Intruder Alert. How he uses one theme and connects it to three different stories with that kind of cadence. love it.

Beautiful Lasers-I've struggled with the same thoughts and listening to that song really helps

Daydreaming is definitely one of my favs, has been for years. It had that perfect blend of hip hop and r&b & and the instrumental puts you in a different world, especially listening to it with you're eyes closed. Yeah. Also I love Shining Down, the word play on that one is ridiculous, simply AMAZING. And I can't forgetOut of My Head, it just has that feel good vibe, plus I've officially made it my summer anthem.

My favorite song is the instrumental.

Favorite Lupe track has to be hip hop saved my life because he shows you his versatility and his story telling flow is incredible

My favorite Lupe Fiasco song is definitely Sunshine, the song itself is amazing and the music is so emotive and I automatically loved it and it became one of those songs you just listen to over and over.. and for that reason it became associated in my head with a really beautiful time in my life that goes hand in hand with the song itself. Everytime I hear it I'm transported back to those warm summer nights and mornings, it was my 'alarm' song so I'd wake up strewn across my bed with my boyfriend, the blanket thrown off and one thin cotton sheet thrown across our frames, a light summer breeze playing with the pure yellow light, streaming through the gauzy curtains to create this ethereal and timeless scene. I can still feel the way I felt those mornings whenever I hear this song, it wraps me up in warmth and love and I can see a lover's lazy smile play across my man's face as he opened his eyes to me watching him sleep. So it's my favorite song because it's intrinsically wrapped up in cherished memories of love.. Oh, and me and the same boy are still together! So if my love had a soundtrack, this would probably be the hit single off the album.

Its tough to choose my favorite Lupe Fiasco song, but if I had to narrow it down to just once song it would be Sunshine. I just feel like that song is really a song you can relate to. It shows that Lupe can make a good radio type song without dumbing it down for the masses.

My favorite has to be "The Instrumental" because it's the one that got me hooked on Lu.

My favorite song has to be Little Weapon. The song is really creative and the lyrics just hit you like a baseball bat.

To me, Lupe's best song is "fighters" because it points out what music today is about. Cars, girls, and money. Lupe isn't about that thought because he raps for his fans and says whats true. Also, the beat is somewhat simple, but it makes you listen even better to the amazing lyrics from Lupe and great vocals from Matthew Santos. Its a good song to listen to when your in a really good mood or a really bad mood. Its probably one of my favorites of all time. LASERS ARE THE FUTURE

My favorite Lupe song has to be "Conflict Diamonds" because the lyrics are just genius!!!

Favorite Lupe song is without a doubt Beautiful Lasers saw it live at Sweetlife Festival and it was even more incredible than I could have imagined. My favorite song used to be Dumb it Down before I listened to Lasers. It is a constant motivation to everyone going through some tough times, and a constant reminder to push through it. 2 and 3 would be Daydreamin and the Instrumental. Along with all of Lupe the Gorilla. Anyway...LUPE!!!

First off let me just say i cant pick one favorite song Lupe is all around amazing so its impossible to pick one song. But i can say my favorite album is the cool i love every single song on that album my favorite beat out af any lupe songs is pressure i just love the whole old school flow it has to it with the old piano and how unique the entire song is and my favorite lyrics to a song is by far Words I Never Said because its just awesome that lupe fiasco knows about the problems in the world today and adresses them unlike other artist and rappers who just rap about money and fame lupe actually addresses issues and the "9/11 building seven did they really pull it?" just makes me happy that someone of his status knows that stuff.Lupe Fiasco never stop making records until the day you die because your the best!

My favorite from this album is "Words I never said;" the lyrics are so brutally true. In fact, the harsh honesty in most of these songs is what makes Lasers so amazing. On a brighter note, I really love "Paris, Tokyo" from The Cool. But I really like the truth of the new album; "it is what it is and it's how it's gonna be"!

'Muhammad Walks', was like nothing I'd ever heard put out before. Absolute genius.

DAYDREAMIN. this song is just incredible. lyrically on point, and Jill Scott's voice and hook is just amazing. video is dope too. and this was easily one of my favorite songs that i've seen Lupe performed during his Steppin Lasers tour stop in Houston. the place blew up and Lupe killed it. amazing song.

FAVOURITE LUPE SONG: Kick,Push WHY: For starters, the beat is incredible. The rhymes are sick. And the musical accompaniments are fantastic. But it's so nice to hear some great rap music about something other than money, girls and cars. Everything Lupe rhymes about is meaningful, but to rap about something so simple and 'everyday' like skateboarding is really cool of him, and the fact that he can turn it into an amazing track that has many hidden meanings and symbolism that probably hit home to a bunch of people.. is even better. cheers lupe.keep doing what you do.

This same question has been invading my thoughts the past few days as I've been deciding which lyrics to use for a tattoo I'm going to be getting. I could go on a complete rant right now like i always do when Lupe is brought up or when people ask me why I'm getting a Lupe Fiasco tattoo but I'll keep it short :). This is such a difficult question to answer because every one of his songs is so truly amazing in it's own way. I don't just like Lupe Fiasco's music, his music means so much more than that to me. His music has gotten me through the darkest, most difficult days and yet has also hyped me up on the way to a party. I love Lupe Fiasco, everything he represents and stands for, and every single lyric in every single song he has ever written has inspired me so much. I'd have to say my favorite is The Instrumental though because not only is it a phenomenal song, it was also the very first song I ever heard by him. My friend Pat made me listen to it 4 years ago and I've been in love with his music ever since. Senior year in High School, I was assigned an analytical essay about 3 pieces of work by any writer, so instead of choosing a writer, I asked if it would be okay if i did Lupe Fiasco instead. I presented a good case and he actually agreed, so I wrote an essay about The Instrumental, Streets On Fire, and Intruder Alert. It was definitely the only essay I've ever enjoyed. The fact that i can write an essay on Lupe's songs just proves that has the deepest, most powerful and meaningful music out there. Thank you for changing my life and inspiring me daily, Lupe :)

Hello/Goodbye (Uncool), shows he can go versatile and not just rap over the usual rap beats and still make it dope. And it is more of story telling than rapping as in the second verse he depicts a war leader who decides he isn't going to fight anymore. And Lupe gives a great visual as they raid his house to capture him. And a rapper who can make you give you more than just lyrics to recite but can actually give a mental picture which he has done so many times is what sets himself apart.

I think its IMPOSSIBLE to just pick one favorite song, so I'm gonna have give a quick breakdown on my top 5 :) BMF: I love the switch up into POSITIVE lyrics, shining some light on people like Malcolm X and Martin Luther, verses Big Meech and Larry Hoover. And the idea of "building minds faster" is just beautiful. Words I Never Said: Who doesn't love and respect a song that speaks nothing but the truth?! (You want the realness? Well, I gotcha!) Go To Sleep: (#1 on my itunes with almost 800 plays!) :D CRAZY wordplay and metaphors! It seems like I catch something new every time I listen to this song. This is an eargasmic song at its greatest. Put You On Game: The lyrics and the way Lupe dictates the words is incredible. His style of rapping is so unique, unlike anything I've ever heard before. This song has a flow thats on a whole 'nother level of UNTOUCHABLE. Beautiful Lasers: Lyrics that cut so deep, its been a LONG time since I've had a song that touches my soul the way that this one does. I love to see the positivity and bright energy that came from such a dark and negative time. Remember, love always shines :)

Glory, off of Fahrenheit 1/15 Part II: Revenge of the Nerds. I've been following Lupe since 04 and the first time that I heard Glory it brought tears to my eyes, I almost broke down. I was going through a really rough time in my life and that song helped me through it. Not only did it help me through it but it inspired me to become a better person. It made me decide to be a more active human being. It made me drop listening to ear candy and develop a taste for food for thought. It made me open my eyes and realize that we are in a simulated reality controlled by our government. Any time I'm feeling down I listen to that song and it brings me right back up to myself. It still remains my favorite song to this day. I made countless friends sit down and listen to it while reading the lyrics in hopes that they would feel the same way as me. Through all of it though, it helped me realize that when you are intelligent and enlightened that all you want to do is spread that same feeling of peace, love, & understanding, but sadly, you can show people water, but can't make them drink it. It even inspired me to become an artist myself, and I know one day Lu and I will work together, but until that day...I'm going to respect the position I play, never letting my heart reflect the conditions in which I stay.

The Coolest because his genius lyrics got the concept of his album also has a sick instrumental...."and if the rain stops and everything's dry, she would cry just so I could drink the tears from her eyes. she'll teach me how to fly. even cushion my fall if my engines ever stall and i plummet from the sky"

I love Put you on game. Its sounds and lyrics are dark but a really a lyrical trip into a world many never understand. It gives a new perspective on power and those who have it vs. those who don't . I don't have nearly enough of his music.

If would be a very hard decision to make but i would have to say my favorite Lupe song is words i never say. It sends such an incredible message to me and he is the only artist who would speak out in such a way that grabs anyone and makes them want more.

My current favorite song of Lupe Fiasco is Beautiful Lasers because the song is packed with raw emotion that's just so relative and undeniable. The lyrics knife at your core. I love how it comments on the darkness of life, and how there's always something to keep you going as long as you're willing to open your eyes and find it. We all have moments at rock bottom, and this song acts as a conversation to lift you out of that depression. It's simply inspiring, and I think it's his best work yet. The song really studies how we crumble within because of all the chaotic aspects of life. Why is life worth living if "everything down here sucks?" Why not cut to the chase because "maybe what's up there is great." It presents suicidal ideation and completely diminishes it through the presentation of human connection. To connect with each other and enjoy life is worth all the obstacles life comes with. Simply put, Beautiful Lasers is an inspiring masterpiece.
