Man even in your interview you sounded unenthusiastic. None of the fans knows what goes on behind the scenes with the record label with them tying to stifle creativity and them thinking they have their fingers on the pulse of the masses. If this album is what you wanted it to be fuck what everyone else says stand by your work but if you aren't feeling it at all then make the changes to make it what you want it to be. Lyrically it's dope, not feeling the production and the choruses. You ain't gotta redefine yourself for a new generation most of your fans know the F&F Volume 1 mixtape All the Fahrenheit 1/15s and even Da Pak shit. At the end of the day do what you feel not the shit that's being fed to you. Still looking forward to F&L II and Friend of the People. Damn man also consider doing Lollapalooza this year wasn't a lot of Chitown rep there last year besides Kidz in the Hall so hopefully that goes down.

Hey Lupe, I know you most likely wont read this, but I'll give it a shot. LASERS, was supposed to be the peoples album, but what happen was Atlantic wanted none of it. We (fans) know you went through a huge amount of BS just to get it out, as did we with our protests. You said yourself that LASERS was basically Atlantic telling what and how to rap to the beats and hooks they gave you. Auto Tune was used from the snippets I've heard. Whats happened to the "Peoples Album"? Im not bashing LASERS because in its own right, its revolutionary. But how was LASERS really supposed to be? How was it supposed to sound? How did you hear it in your head? Im not trying to tell you how to do your job, but show us the real Lupe that pushes through the obstacles, that knocks down walls, and makes us think. And not just think, but read up on whats really going on. Show us the LASERS that you envisioned. Lupe Fiasco, Push through all the BS and don't be a Loser of Life, be a Laser. Where are the virtues you spoke of in the manifesto? Again Lupe you the man, but if its Atlantic thats holding you back, just go back to the roots. To stuff that made you such a force, like Revenge of the Nerds. Although instead now with the insight that you have now and the change. "Mos Def said it best it's a better build cell block, where they putcha' to death if you don't sell hot records"* just another fan *who fell asleep, and had a dream*, and saw the *beautiful lasers* and Ima do me *til I get there*..... Much Love and to each his own
