Lupe doesnt vote because he understands the truth behind politics and the government in general and how it doesnt mattter who we want in office all that matters is who they want in office. They'll dress up a wolf in sheeps clothing and write him a speech full of lies and words we want to hear inorder to fool us. Everyone needs to wake up to the truth of whats going on with the higher ups.

Lupe is on it. So many A list celebs and musicians have a chance to make a difference because America's youth look up to them yet they pass that opportunity up because it's the easier path. They dont realize how much power they actually have. Props Lupe. There's so much happening in America but most people are blind or refuse to believe things like Lupe is talking about. Our freedoms are slowly being taken but it's cool, Im gonna go watch the super bowl. The government is here to serve us, not the other way around. Give the power back to the people Lupe, keep up the good work, you're the realist hip hop artist out there. P.S. @Lucas Lederer-Plaskett our votes don't really count in the big picture, corporations own the system and right now they have the final say in politics. Good look though, I get what you're saying. "Kings are the servants, not the proprietors, of the people." -Thomas Jefferson

the reason I'm guessing he isn't voting is because in Islam you do not vote, or basically submit yourself for a person unless you agree with not just their policies but their morals. I don't vote either. the president right now allowed 100 civilians to get slaughtered to capture one terrorist. I don't want to be responsible for that blood indirectly being on my hands.

I'm a proud supporter of all musicians and public figures who take a stand and make themselves knowledgeable and aware of their environments and communities. I do think it's important to vote in the sense of (generally) choosing the lesser of two evils, but I can definitely understand not settling for that kind of system at all. Anyhow, I have a lot of respect for those musicians who, regardless of what's going to get them a temporary hit and quick money, persevere and continue to come out with art. Represent the Midwest, Lupe! Let the show go on!

I can't support the not voting, a lot of horrible people get into office through refusing to follow one of our few civic duties.

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Backing Lupe up on everything he's saying in this video. I don't vote either, for the same reasons. Interested in the anarchy symbol on the necklace (and the one stylized in the Lasers logo as well) -- any insights?
