He began taking it much more seriously during his late teens, releasing his first flood of self-made tracks and albums made in his basement studio. Following highschool, he honed his recording and mixing skills while working on his bachelor's degree at Purdue with an accelerated class schedule so that he could get done quickly and thus be able to have more influence in his son's lives. He became involved in battles and shows with the Purdue University Hip Hop Society, and collaborated with artists such as freeBASEMENTality, a very talented group.
