I'm a music fiend! I have a great respect for artists who express their music through positivity; one who isn't afraid to divulge issues that are concealed by societal institutions. Initially, I refused to listen to hip hop because I was under the impression that it symbolized materialism, drugs, sex and the degradation of women. Lupe is one of the few hip hop artists I actually enjoy being a fan of. His music gives me a sigh of relief, believing that their are others out there who have similar views than me.
