Wow I JUST caught that line!!

aight so we all now that lupe is known for his superlyricalness, which include extended metaphors and double, triple, sometimes even quadruple entendres. so, i figured y not make a thread dedicated to that. post some lyrics that u just figured out recently, or took u a while to understand.

i recently caught the "hijacked the role and went and shot the pilot" line from Hi-Definition.

and even tho it wasnt recently, it took me a while for me to catch the "a match made in heaven set the fires in hell" line from The Coolest.

    The bloke in the trench coat in the locs in a chair is Morpheus from The Matrix, when he offered Neo the blue or red pill (metaphor for seeking the truth or staying in the illusion). Lu took both pills, so he has a balance with knowing the truth but coexisting in the facade that is the Hip-Hop industry. He also threw in some vampire/ghost wordplay, and he implies that he's a writer for a ghost writer. Haaa.
