VIBE Magazine names Drake the freshman of the year. Agree?

Many of you probably are aware of this but if not, VIBE Magazine has declared Drake as the freshman of the year.  What do you think about this?  Deserved?

If not Drake who do you think should have got it?

Personally my call would either be Cudi or J. Cole, unfortunately I feel Cole's hype didn't start until it was deep into the year and many haven't really checked him out.

I still have love for Drake though he's doing his thing, what do you guys think?

    I Disagree with this i believe Kid cudi deserves this title he hasnt done as much as drake but if you look at it cudi's album did better and his songs actually have a message and their all catchy,drake got famous by doing horrible collabs and signing with weezy who everyone knows is gonna do w.e to get his artist to the top unlike kanye who let his artist get to the top by them selfs which is how kanye got known and in the long run is the best way to get famous..but besides kid cudi i think asher roth and b.o.b. should be on the list

    Khalfia beeen rapping for a minute though. Drake would get my vote no doubt, he been rapping for a minute too though, the dude is REAL though. He wasn't on the block, but he used to come down drop rhymes where the people would be at, then City is Mine came out, and everyone in Toronto knew that this dudes gonna carry the city.

    HHonestly, I used to love his music like in Januarary but got tired of him. Hes overrated now. Everyone all of a sudden loves him and his music which is pretty good, above average from most of the trash we have today on the radio, but still overrated. Literally almost all of his songs are about girls or relationships. Hes pretty creative he just needs to work on it more.

    I'd choose Cudi though. His album was incredible, it told a story (or stories depending on how you look at it) and the first time i listened to it, and got to Soundtrack 2 My life, I knew this album was going to be amazing. The whole album was an experience and I really hope Cudi and Lupe do a collab one day, hopefully on Lasers or Cudder.

    i think he does deserve it, but he is a little full of himself already. on his song ' forever' he claims how no one did nothing for him. really drake? your ass was on nickoldeon playing jimmy from degrassi. and weezy gave you a deal, so he can sit on that one
