Though, i didn't personally like it myself, simply because i'm not that into hip-hop anymore, though i don't really remember being crazy for hip-hop... hm. Anyway, i just didn't like people saying, the flow is whack. it irked me.

i mean.... it wasnt lupe's great stuff to our expectations, because we know what hes capable of. but he "dumbed this down" a little bit for those who dont get lupe. He used a mainstream beat and "whack" flow to catch people's attention. He's not falling off, this was all for a reason.

Such a tired argument. Anyone with even a decent amount of skill is better then "most artists 'out there'"

Now if the argument was "His worst stuff is still on par or better then most other top rappers" then I could see. Or even "Out of his prime he's still making great music".

just because someone raps about something conscious to life, thats not about drugs, girls, money or nothing.....doesnt mean its good. this wasn't really that nice....ESPECIALLY for lupe. If this is what you guys want and expect for lupe you guys really have low standards for him, and don't realize his potential.

Lupe believes he has his fans on lock so he's doing LASERS and that punk rock shit to get people outside his fans to listen to what he has to say (lasers manifesto). Don't worry when The Great American Rap Album drops it'll live up to it's name it wouldn't be just to name an album that and have it suck.

Hell, most decent artists "prime" doesn't last for only a year or 2 lol.

Yeh well most decent artists can still make quality music even out of their "prime".
