Lol lowkey and akala are great but they just can't touch Lupe's "the cool" or "food and liquor". Hell, immortal technique has even slaughtered both akala and lowkey at anything theyve released just with his " the martyr " mixtape which was free. I'm sorry but lowkey is far from best rapper aalive when it comes to facts. His lyrics just don't hit me as hard as LU. Lupe is a genius. Plus he's just a cooler dude in general. Lolz

I think this is very true, because when you look at rap music today, there are very few rappers who have dared to against the mainstream. I like that about Lupe's music, its hip hop but not your typical hip hop, which makes his music interesting to listen to. Shinning Down is one of my favorite, the hook was amazing.
