    I love the reference...i love house & electronica.  I think lupe was talking about how shadow & lavelle called out dj clue & dj envy on "no more subliminal sh*t" off of GU Romania.  what a bonafide reference!

Chyea. Plus right before mentioning Shadow and Lavelle, Lu said that he was too "uncool," which could also be interpreted as a double entendre referring to UNKLE, which when it started had DJ Shadow and James Lavelle in it. Dope line.
