    Is Eminem Overated? I think the answer is yes! Now while his earlier work (The Slim Shady LP,Marshal Mathers LP, & The Eminem Show) were good artistic peaces of work....his latest stuff has been crap & Recovery is a 6.5/10 (in my opinion)...& I can name at least a few rappers who bring his level of "realness" 2 the mic & havent really "dropped off"...Mos Def,The Game(dont hate him 4 rappin bout what he knows the "gangster life"),Papoose(dont hate him cus' he chose 2 stay underground),Ghostface,Black Thought...Let me know your opinions...

No Eminem isn't overrated. Outside of Ghostface he's so above and beyond all your other examples it's not even worth making an elaborate analogy or metaphor. Encore was decent, Relapse was better and Recovery is on par with The Slim Shady LP despite some through unnecessary tracks like Seduction and WTP.

Mos Def has got some unique skills. A few weeks ago I heard one of his early albums called Gravity he did with Talib under the name Bush Babies-check it out.
