"Now i'm bout as uncool as some cover to a pool from a puddle
like a monsoon but subtler."

I can't figure this "simple" line out to save my life.  Thanks a lot Lupe!!!

uncool also doubles for him not being "cool" like into money cars clothes hoes haha and "to a pool from a puddle" can also be his lyrics. he takes shallow words and lines and expands them; maybe i'm just stretching it though haha

"Now i'm bout as uncool as some cover to a pool" naturally people like to swim so when a pool is covered its not cool because people want to swim. "from a puddle like a monsoon but subtler." and here he is referring to his music career saying he went from puddle(small) to a monsoon (big) but subtler (quietly)
