    Hi everyone,am new here and even in Lupe world!But I love his music and lyrics as everyone here.

    I live in Italy where black music is not very popular and many news from Hip hop artist doensn't even arrive here,and didn't really UNDERSTAND WHY THIS LASERS ALBUM IS NOT COMING OUT!Tried readin some things on youtube or here...bu was difficult cuz ppl say diff thing and don't know if is Lu or Atlantic Rc fault!

    So if somebody can clear ma mind I will appreciate al lot!Peace

@ETW:that's always the same problem of who wants to be different and free!Lupe is different and maybe as Pharrell he should do a personal label on his own....he's too talented and that's how ppl react! Am happy the way is behavin (as u told me money 4 beaming came form his pocket),I hope he won't give up and continuin on his way! @BMABALA:Thank u!Yeah helped me a lot and the video of Lu it's so emotional!I think it would be like that to every artist that see one of his work,dream or somethin that u have worked so hard 4 do it not allowed to come out!All that sux!Expecially cuz 4 example here in Italy but think in all Europe Lu is not so famous cuz he neva did a HIT song club or anyway stupid songs;the way he rap is deep and intelligent and very few ppl here can appreciate it,and that's y this stupid Atalantic Rc behavin! @HH10202 Yeah,i think is kinda same situation for Lupe too!Even Nas does different Rap,Hip hop and maybe not all likes him cuz he's kinda different look more old school,but we like him 4 that!Cuz he's not rappin always about money,girls and drug but about everythin in the world!I loved the things he said...THEY ARE THE STARS!If we buy and listen their music is not 4 the apparence,the way the dress or the advartise they do,but what THEY SAY and HOW THEY SAY it! Nas speaks on his issues with the label and its treatment towards the artists. Nas Blasts Def Jam Executives I won't even tap dance around in an email, I will get right into it. People connect to the Artist @ the end of the day, they don't connect with the executives. Honestly, nobody even cares what label puts out a great record, they care about who recorded it. Yet time and time again its the executives who always stand in the way of a creative artist's dream and aspirations. You don't help draw the truth from my deepest and most inner soul, you don't even do a great job @ selling it. The #1 problem with DEF JAM is pretty simple and obvious, the executives think they are the stars. You aren't.... not even close. As a matter of fact, you wish you were, but it didn't work out so you took a desk job. To the consumer, I COME FIRST. Stop trying to deprive them! I have a fan base that dies for my music and a RAP label that doesn't understand RAP. Pretty f*cked up situation." Lupe Fiasco/Atlantic?

Hi I.Feel.ya, Atlantic is just looking for reasons not to release the album, so they are looking for ways to discourage Lupe and others from pushing the agenda, but we as the fans we wont let that happen. Lupe said Atlantic wanted him to sign a contract that would give them 25% of anything he makes from shows or deals with other companies like Nike or whatever. (Sean's note: That's a 360 deal) He told them NO so they threatened him by not pushing any of his new songs on the radio or giving him money to make the videos (the I'm Beamin' video came out of his own pocket). Also they basically don't like his music or the way Lupe put it 'They think I'm whack'. So Atlantic sent him hooks they wanted him to do. He recorded them and sent them back but they didn't like them anymore and tried to have him change the hooks like 60 different times. In the end he had enough. I was pretty close ;), they think hes whack (basicly they dont like the message i.e TRUTH) AK.A they want him to be a puppet ;) COPY JAY-Z AND MAKE YOUR FINGERS A PIRAMID! 'They Sell Your Pop Songs To These Nice Teenager , And Don't Get Me Wrong You Might Be Famouse, But They Buy Green Acres, You Neat Trainers(nikes) You Were More Real As An Id Faker, Make Enough Love Songs And You Might See Paper, When You See 1, The Label See A Hundred Crispy Bills, That Is What Happens When Your Sign 360 DEALS ;)' whahhah LOL

Wow,didn't know he was muslim,but that shouldn't influence anything! Music exsist 4 sayin what we want ti say,the truth that other wouldn't say,love,peace and life! Read that on the 15th there will be a protest at the atlantic Rc hope somethin will change!Thx 4 ur answer! Peace

Basicly, Lupe is probably made some contraversial songs( songs wich contain TRUTH, and the public is not ready for the truth_ [hint] lupe = a muslim) So they want him to make music that degrades human beings (aka teens wich eventually wil grown to be grown men (OR NOT: perpetual childhood). There is this whole 'secret' part in hiphop wich 99,9 percent down know about.
