    I think EM comes from an older school of hip hop where the sound of the flow was just as important as the lyrics....

On the Recovery album it seemed like Eminem made garbage choruses to prove a point....but I can't think of any song where Lu wasted any time in a song.

EM always makes a few throwaway tracks that'll be radio-safe too.

EM is overrated.... He practically came out as a parody rapper with homicide issues. Now he made a comeback with this sober-image which created hype that shouldn't even be there. Call me a hater, but I believe he isn't much of a good rapper. Lu>Em

man this is a great topic, i had to get in on it. i'm agreeing with everybody else that the last part was RIDICULOUS!!! lol drake would wreck them both?? drake does not freestyle for one. 2. drake isn't amazing lyrically. most of his lyrics deal with his life which is cool cause he keeps it real and now and then you'll hear something clever but never is it that amazing. his beats combined with his lyrics and his singing is what makes him hot! now for em vs. lupe. as far as i'm concerned lupe wins. his flow is nice, his lyrics are ridiculous. he knows so much stuff which is what makes a rapper hot because it allows him to use more metaphors and similes and produce better punch lines. and on top of that HE KEEPS IT REAL and reps the chi!! as far as style goes I like lupe. this is no diss to em but i like lu more. Em just seems to usually rap in that hardcore (IM GOIN HAM ON THE TRACK) kinda way. think lupe gives more variety. but I can defintely see ppl pickin em as the winner

eminem takes it! the guy is goin down in da rap hall of fame as 1 of da all time greats along wit jay z! lupe is 1 of da illest nd realest rappers out jst undarated nd i love him 4 dat! no homo! and then drake... ok he doin his thing but in short time his music has become repetitive! and he too lovey dovey for my liking! honestly not feelin his latest album! recovery is way better!... but dats jst my opinion!

Close.... but no. Eminem wins just because his flow is so incredible and he seems to be more personal. Lupe is better lyrically but his flow isnt as good as Em's and he doesnt seem to get AS personal that em does. I would like to see lupe be more personal on his next album kinda like the way he did in the song "beauiful lasers." Now.. for everyone below me honestly LISTEN to Drake before you trash him. He's not on Em or Lupe's level yet, but the reason he is so good is because he keeps it real... True he is commercial at times, but then he'll turn right back around in the same song and hit you with some real shit. He has great songs in "Fear", "The Resistance," "Closer" and the list goes on... hes real, he talks about how he's the shit right now (cant deny it) but he'll talk about his flaws as well. Im a die-hard lupe fan.. but LISTEN before you trash drake. He might surprise you

what are talking about 'cleaned his act up?' Drake just put out a typical mainstream crap album. I choose lupe's flow over em's. When it comes to flow I believe it's a matter of preference.
