    I got fired last month on some "be happy you got a job/we gonna stand over you and make sure you work so hard you don't even have enough energy after the day to walk to the train/toss my salad(preferabbly with syrup) because there's 50 people that'll be here to replace you after we fire you(true)" shit.

    Luckily I got real motherfuckers for roommates and I'm accustomed to eating rice 3 meals a day but all the last of my money went into rent/food and a month pass....my point is...

    I bought F&L and The Cool and would've bought the mix tapes if I was hip to Lu back then and there's no other

I bought F&L and The Cool and would've bought the mix tapes if I was hip to Lu back then and there's no other artist I'd rather support.  BUT I'm going to download Lasers.

As an artist/musician shit got me thinking.  All the stuff that inspires me to create comes from the struggle...After an artist gets signed, buys a house and would be straight the rest of his life if he lived humbly what are they pullin' from?  You know?

It's like you get to do your thing 24/7.....you gonna write some real shit about private flights/hotel suites/girls throwin' themselves at you?

I think Lu is an exception(I hope) but look at any artist(Kanye) and see how their work slowly degrades with fame and fortune. 

Don't get it twisted though I'm not saying that popular artists don't deserve to make a living off their creations....I'm just sayin' it's got to be understood, especially in hip hop/punk that a lot of the people that are going to really feel your shit...feel that shit in their heart just can't afford to buy the albums.

the money from the albums doesn't even go to the artist, it goes to the record label/everyone else. the artist only gets 1 dollar for every album sold. and less then one penny for every single that is sold. so your not really taking much from him, but it would still be nice for him to say that he got all of those sales.

I'm just trying to make other true fans feel better about coppin' it for free....I'll buy it when I could afford to though I'm not about to start giving life updates but i took an assessment test for a new job today and the way things are lookin' i'll end up gettin' that first paycheck before it drops anyway...Japanese Cartoon album should be out today or tommorow to tide us all over.

I really want to BUY this album instead of downloading it, because I've really liked his last two albums (mixtapes= eh) I can find 10 out of 12 songs that I'll be able to listen to repeatedly. But if they keep holding it back that I'm not even feeling it anymore. I know its for competition, but once em's album simmers down (if it ever does) they should release lasers and just hope for the best, besides its an album lupe would have never created, if not for what SO/UN said
