    I've been going through Blue Sky Black Death's catalog for awhile after I went back I listened to their Jean Grae/Velvet Underground mix (The Evil Jeanius). Always nice. Danger Mouse needs to go back to hip hop or Gnarls Barkley because everything he's done has either been potential squandered or fucking up good bands. Can't forget 9th Wonder either. Better than I gave him credit for during his Little Brother days.

vv I feel like Exile makes every rapper sound a little bit better than they really are (Emanon, Fashawn, Blu). But all three are still cool. I like how Blu produces his own tracks too (similar to J Cole).

everyone in this thread should have heard exiles production, otherwise gtfo and get below the heavens. blus production i noticed has been getting alot better than it was originally. also - nicolays pretty good from the foreign exchange albums i've heard, not heard anything else though

DOOM production is much better then DOOM rapping. Take Me To Your Leader is one of my favorite produced albums. and "Doomsday" has an awesome beat.

sabzi is probably my favorite producer of all time. it just seems like he puts a little bit extra into his production compared to others. idk what it is. that's just my opinion though. ex: common market -connect for, tobacco road, winter takes all, swell blue scholars - bayani, second chapter, loyalty also, blu and exile both produce some really cool tracks. exile of course is a semi-known producer but a lot of people haven't heard blu's production. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfLXAxYP0QU&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLy3HwfU-uw

I got madvillan its alright, so i guess i can stand doom got the GB album, but embarrassingly didnt know that was c-lo and dangermouse till a couple of months back. when i also saw he produced demon days. got the grey album too

As for Premo, his like 90's production is really the only stuff I dig as far as him handling the production for an entire album. Like his production on the Gangstarr album Moment of Truth is great, and Jeru The Damaja's two albums "The Sun Rises In The East" and "Wrath of the Math" are both awesome. But with premo I more so like the individual songs he does for people. To me it's been more consistent since 94 til now. Like even the last few years he's produced some of the dopest beats. But he's produced entire albums like Blaq Poets "The Blaqprint" which I wasn't feeling so much. NYGz "Welcome to G-Dom" however was pretty dope. that's from 07 I think.

Blue Sky Black Death: Rap Albums: Blue Sky Black Death & Jean Grae - Evil Jeanius Blue Sky Black Death & Hell Razah - Razah's Ladder Instrumental: BSBD - Late Night Cinema BSBD - Slow Burning Lights By Dangermouse you should peep him and Doom's cd if you can stand Doom, "Mouse and the Mask" I think it's called. Also he is one half of Gnarls Barkley, he produces and C-Lo raps. Plus he produced The Gorillaz album Demon Days. And damn, I didn't realize how active Madlib was. I'll admit my dislike for Madvillainy may have put the blinders on me but I'm definitely gonna check some more of his stuff.

Blue Sky Black Death is a duo. Dude has dropped 7 albums this year Ian. He's doing 12 as part as his Medicine Show series. He has several jazz projects, mostly under Yesterday's New Quintet and he did Shades of Blue. Champion Sound he did with J Dilla where he each produced half and the other rapped. There's Quasimoto, but you won't like that experiment. Did work on Eryka Badu's last album. And far too much shit to post. http://www.stonesthrow.com/madlib/discography

Madlib is one of my faves, specifically because I love just about everything that MF Doom does with him. So many, so many beats. My goodness. Hi-Tek. Slept on? Eh I'm not quite sure about that. But Revolutions Per Minute is a dope album from the hair follicles to the toenails, and Tek kills it. I agree with ole boi down there that his discography is absolutely amazing, especially what he's done with Blackstar. J Dilla. R.i.P. Jay Electronica, yum.

Love nearly everything stated here + I love El-P he's dope as hell. I Don't like most of the Clipse stuff except freedom and few other tracks maybe. Dan the Automator of deltron 3030 made some pretty nice stuff too. + recently discovered Nujabes (RIP) shame I didn't found him out earlier.

I was never a huge fan of Neptunes. But recently I been going through like N.E.R.D. stuff, Clipse stuff, and alot of their produced tracks on other dudes albums. And man, I gotta say, I have kinda been under-appreciating them. They have a s***load of really nice tracks they've produced.
