    I was on Datpiff and saw a mixtape by lupe called Love letter to the Beat. I was wondering if this is actually a legit mixtape or if it is somekind of leaked album. I also read on the internet that he has a single called "love letter to the beat" featuring alicia keyes. I never hear about the single until i stumbled across a torrent of it so is it even officially released yet?

    I was just hoping someone could clear this up and let me know if these songs are legit or whats up with this. idk.

@ LM chad produced it for alicia years ago but it was turned down....it wasn't even a big deal because it wasn't going to be sold or put on lasers or anything...just unreleased. the thing was, bloggers got hold of it and started posting shit saying it was a leak from lasers.in retaliation, alicia's sound engineer then posted the neptunes drumkits for people to download.

popular demand is from enemy of the state. black out is from the coolest.resurrection is a song he did for haiti. all the other stuff except for lean and proceed are leaked stuff. lean and proceed were unrelesead tracks. none of it is new so it isn't legit. but on hey lupe it talks about vintage fiasco and lupe actually said that. that mixtape will come out evetually but he just asked the dj absolut to hold up on it because too much of his stuff is coming out (this is when enemy of the state had just dropped and talks of lasers and the mixtape he was suppose to drop on christmas but didn't cause of the kilimanjaro climb) vintage fiasco is suppose to have 12 unreleased tracks. ive been waiting on it for a minute

the songs on this tape are not on any other mixtape by lu. plus, they have a totally different sound than most of his stuff
