I think B.o.B is dope. He has a good ear for melodies and this song right here is simple and melodic and still intricate and rhythmic because of Lupe's verse.

Wow... CT, I'm copping the song now. I overlooked lines that I thought where simple.
The line "i'm a slave to myself i just obey my boss" I think could refer to his relationship with his record label. I think he is saying that he is slave to no one but himself and it also could allude to how he is promoting his album via Steppin Lasers Tour without the help of Atlantic.
I really did get amazed when I caught that chain he tossed lol

(The parade in my eyes is the rap game he saying its in disarray its out of order because the lames like waka flocka get more radio play than a guy like Lupe. The rappers are the center of attention and fans all watch as they go by. The chains are Lupes lines. When you catch one of lupes lines its pretty amazing (like this im explaining now lol) but also in parades (mardi gras) when you catch an actual chain ppl get excited. and hangs from your brain is simply you remember it.)

I would have put the song on my MP4 if the chorus was better. Lupe and B.o.B did alright on their verses and nothing more. I did like how Lupe delivered his lines, but as far the lyrics it's nothing near his best. Overall the song was nothing spectacular.
