and his other album safe in steep cliffs is pretty good, i just bought it and am about halfway through. after the 1st song i thought it was all gonna be the same as soon it will be cold enough, but theres a few songs with a different sound

I read somewhere that he's a 19 yo college student, or was at the time of writing. I'm almost 19 now, and all i've dont at uni is master the science of strawpedoing and drinking from a frisbee, wheras he created that album? I hope he had no social life, it'd make me feel better.

The artist known as Nujabes was a producer... some think call it hip hop, jazzy, or experimental but to me as well as countless others its simply Timeless Music. His beats/instrumentals speak to a rarely visited part of the soul, he gained most of his notoriety with the Samurai Champloo soundtrack but thats only the tip of the iceberg. The vibe speaks for itself, but the majority of his music is perfect.

Seriously shocked, the guy was such an inspiration and to this day his work in music is just amazing to hear and just lay there, chill, feel upbeat, be inspired..gah, seriously a true talent is missed. R.I.P..
