    Ok this is not a matter of who verse who but in the midst of rappers that sound alike i was listening to Wale - Attention Deficit album dont know who else on here may of listened to it but I found on alot of his joints his flow & word play is very similar to Lupe. Dont know if they're from the same area or what but checking to see what yall think

Lupe is better, but in my opinion Wale is the only other rapper out right now that can be compared(lyrically) with Lupe.

if you read the initial start of the discussion i said its not a matter of who vs who..clearly you're intellectually challenged. its a discussion on artists that sound like other people i just brought up that i found wale sounded like Lupe on his Attention Deficit album. hope this helps you catch up, for a person talking isht on people discussion you really ain't contributing but hey take win bro you do you.

yeh i like Wale vibe but when i saw him as the house band for that award show cant remember which one now but i was like damn hope he don't end up like an artist's cover artist cause as even said by people here he has a lill flow like Lupe, some of Kanye west and well then heck add Consequence in that mix one time lol

the thing about lupe is that i havent heard an average or "okay" song from him, they are all great to me. wale will put out stuff thats not that great sometimes. still like wale a lot jcole and knaan are two of my faves tho.

I liked 100 Miles & Running the best. Everything else, meh. Except for that original Crazy track on Hate is the New Love - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDOal3v1yZ8 He's not that similar to Lupe though..more go-go stuff you know.

Yup, Wale is from DC, Nigerian immigrant parents. I really took interest in his career since I saw the DC Chillin' track with Lady Gaga and his style appealed to me. I even downloaded and listened to his Back to the Feature mixtape in anticipation to Attention Deficit. I have to say, at first, his wordplay sounded a tad bit Lupe-like to me though, and his voice a bit like Kanye West's. I have to say Attention Deficit disappointed me. Don't get me wrong, the album is still good, but his lyricism did not live up to the anticipation I had built up. K'Naan and J.Cole "outflowed" him on their respective tracks. What's more? He even uses the same sample in Lupe's Theme Music to a Drive By (Do It, Do It). I have to say, Kid Cudi and especially Asher Roth beat him last year as my favourite hip-hop artists.
