I personally pick Lupe. I'm not a Wayne hater or anything. I believe that (at times) his lyrics can go beyond the conventional commercial subject matter (i.e. cars, money, sex) ;however, he still has no depth to his lyrics. His metaphors are all punch-lines and face value. I believe Lupe is better because he has thought provoking music while giving metaphors that are deep and poetic. Prime example: The Instrumental

Wayne has nothing on him. Wayne just speaks a bunch of GARBAGE. Nothing meaningful. Nothing that is going to be remembered 10 years from now. Wayne is high all the time, so most of his metaphors is just a bunch of crap jumbled together. its meaningful. I have a feeling that in 10 years my kids will grow up listening to Lupe Fiasco.

BOTS - 'A Millie' was the song of the decade, lupe is okay, but can't even compare to Lil Wayne.
Lil Wayne even has to have drake write his stuff because the stuff that wayne is soo good and clever that the audience wouldnt understand it, so has to have drake dumb it down for him.

Wayne is the epitome of a (mains stream) rapper @ WADZ89.
He's fake, spits a bunch of nonsense, all punchlines, and he's just ignorant. Now Lupe isn't the epitome of a rapper either, he's too out of the box for that. I do believe he is the best lyricist and poet though and as such he is way better than Wayne.
