    Its obvious the competition is slim to none, so how do u feel about the years?

    The best Lupe song of 06? 07? 08? 09? which one u take #1? 

     

     

    "Glory" is above all to me,, so i guess its 06 for me......

Normally I dig an artists older tracks, but Lu really impresses me each year, that verse in Glory, is stupid genius. I can't really say the best track...I can tell you which I DON'T like.

F&L Leak > F&L > The Cool and cos on what ian said, 2006 was the golden year, and the older the track is the better the chance I like it, always dig unreleased tracks. Hated Superstar when it dropped, first track I really wasn't feeling at all. Still don't, but I like Shining Down more than Superstar, but maybe that's just cause it sounds new. I dunno.

In 2007 I liked Below The Heavens a lot more than The Cool, but that's just me.

I really liked '07, "The Cool" might be my favorite album, ever. His biggest competition lyrically is Tech N9ne, who absolutely murders the mic. It would be weird to have the two on a same track, but Lupe on Midwest Choppers 3 would be too sick. I have pretty high hopes for this year though so hopefully Lupe doesn't disappoint. I don't think he will though since he's trying to get on that list.

Lu been gettin weaker the further in his career he ventures, is more like it. More boring too. And yes, Lupe is definitely slim competition to most rappin dudes over the years (I know that's not what you meant, but that's what I'm sayin). 06 is, and will forever be his best year in music, and the closest he'll ever come to shining the most in comparison to other guys, at one time. Lu 06 >>>> Lu 07 >> Lu now
