    Considering the discussion we (Tay and Ian...) have been having bout Lupe and emotions and personal ish. Would a Blu and Lupe collabo be legendary? you'd get the best of both worlds, I'm pretty sure I heard a Blu interview where he said he'd definately do a collab with Lu. Or do you think it just wouldnt work? styles too different?

That's a legitimate complaint about Blu. I don't agree with it, but it is. He has an emotional honesty and structure of words when he rhymes that elevate him outside the trough of underground rap.

Blu is okay, nothing special. The fact that he is young and doesn't do the normal "mainstream" rap makes people gaga over him. Exiles production is soulful though, even thought it is a bit empty at times.

I know it's a Lupe forum, but Lupe doesn't need to be compared with any and every rapper that doesn't do dance or gangster/hardcore music. Lupe's style(and who he listens to) has largely been closer to the rappers majority of these guys claim to hate.

oh and Lu does have a generic ass flow, and delivery sucks, but cant blame him on delivery, cant help it unless he gets his voice changed, so i don't criticize him on it too much

I mean most of the time dude is spittin cookie cutter. See: Most of his album songs. And it's more of a generic delivery than just a generic flow. Common has one too though (But I like his overall delivery more). If you've ever heard anyone like Pharoahe Monche or Mos Def rhyme, they are switchin it up constantly. Lu sometimes sticks to this annoying a,a,a,a,b,b,b,b,c,c,c,c type rhyme scheme. Straight up amateur, Dr. Seuss status.

Styles too different honestly. It'd be hard enough finding production both these guys would sound good over, but then you have Lu's generic ass flow mixed in with Blu's delivery, and it'd be so off. I honestly don't know if that would work unless one or both of them compromised for the sake of harmony in the track, which would then just be a disappointment from both of them. But with dope enough production, ANYTHING can sound good lol.

I think the two styles together would be nice.. good veriation . Lu is technically brilliant, while Blu could add the emotion and realism . Blu is startin to produce nice aswel .. EyeCry with sene is on repeat
