Go to sleep. Your lyrics are very well spoken for. I'm happy the way LASERS came out, Can't wait for the next album, Hopefully it won't be as stressful on you as lasers has been. Thanks for the great music brother,

I think its IMPOSSIBLE to just pick one favorite song, so I'm gonna have give a quick breakdown on my top 5 :) BMF: I love the switch up into POSITIVE lyrics, shining some light on people like Malcolm X and Martin Luther, verses Big Meech and Larry Hoover. And the idea of "building minds faster" is just beautiful. Words I Never Said: Who doesn't love and respect a song that speaks nothing but the truth?! (You want the realness? Well, I gotcha!) Go To Sleep: (#1 on my itunes with almost 800 plays!) :D CRAZY wordplay and metaphors! It seems like I catch something new every time I listen to this song. This is an eargasmic song at its greatest. Put You On Game: The lyrics and the way Lupe dictates the words is incredible. His style of rapping is so unique, unlike anything I've ever heard before. This song has a flow thats on a whole 'nother level of UNTOUCHABLE. Beautiful Lasers: Lyrics that cut so deep, its been a LONG time since I've had a song that touches my soul the way that this one does. I love to see the positivity and bright energy that came from such a dark and negative time. Remember, love always shines :)

iight my favourite LUP track is... i have no idea!!!!! this guy has been my favourite rapper for the majority of my grown man life, and has given me the drive to be a different person and not be afraid to do so! Whats funny is I really love "free chilly "(Gemini version wit Sarah Green) cuz Im always dying to hear him rapping over that! maybe its his popular demand off of "Enemy Of the State" because he just rode the beat so well, and the lyricism was nuts!! Or it could be "Dumb it Down" because he dared to tell everybody "hell no! im not gonna conform to your wack party all day raps and imma show you why im the best in the world" But one track that has a lot of history with me has got to be "The cool" that song used to scare the hell out of me!!! but it also showed me what this guy can do with his words, I love musical stories, and Lupe is perfect for that. "On the watch that had stopped 6 months after the shots that had got him in the box wringing Henny out his socks" My favourite line in that track, which showed that every word in that track has a significant meaning! HONESTLY LUPE HELPED ME GET 80s IN ACADEMIC ENGLISH!! sooooooo imma say The cool is my favourite track.

i gotta go with "heat under the babyseat" the flow is so raw and the stories he tells about each kid seem like they could be anyone. I also am a gorrilaz fan, And a huge fan of the song little weapon so that makes me love this song even more. i just wish it was like 3 times as long HAHAAHAHA

My favorite song is Put you on Game which is off my all time favorite album Lupe Fiasco's the Cool. It is amazing how Lupe portrays how the "hood" works without using any profane language but still achieving the desired dark and gloomy effect.

From the album Lasers I would say my favorite song is Words I Never Said because of the way Lupe broadcasted the truth and versed things plenty of people will not say because of plain fear of what others think. This taught me to say what I feel no matter what others around me think, because one day I'll regret the words I never said.

My favorite Lupe song is City Wings. His flow is dope, his lyrics are dope, and when he raps in Japanese its DOPE! You're the man Lu, keep doing what you're doing.

Words I Never Said ---> ITS TOO DEEP! and Lupe does what no other artists would do, talk bad about the goverment and about the truth about america.

In 2010, Porter J. Goss, former Director of Central Intelligence under Bush came to my city as a guest speaker in Naples, Florida to talk to Collier County Public Schools. I asked him about topics relating what "Words I Never Said" contained. Of course he gave me bullshit answers trying to go around my questions. I told him he was fake. So my favorite song is "Words I Never Said." When Lupe's last verse came I felt really good inside, because if we don't have the courage to speak up then we might as well wear masks depicted in his music video.

My favorite song has got to be Words I Never Said. I've listened to and followed lupe throughout his whole career knowing him to be a man with powerful political ideologies bottled up just barely leaking into his earlier tracks and ready to explode. And he finally did get to say the words he never said prior to lasers. Although I disagree with much of what he says I agree with the universal right to voice opinion and the notion that people are half awake while the world races around us.

Favourite song is Go To Sleep because its got a badass beat and Lu doing his thing on it, gets me pumped everytime.

"catch me" the energy in that song is so fresh and lively

paris tokyo!!! because i used to sing the chorus to my son when he was a tiny baby to put him to that he is 2 he still sways to the song!

"Gotta Eat" because any song that can compare the drug cartel to fast food deserves to be my favorite song. Just completely legit.

"Joaquin Phoenix" its supposedly Travis Barker feat. Lupe Fiasco but who cares. Lupe goes hard on that song; "Killing is a dirty job, Michael Myers, Michael Rowe, bring it back like Michael Fox and see how far them Michaels go" is my favorite line. :)

"words I never said" because it sends out a powerful, and positive message to the youth of today, He's telling us to use your voice and fight for a cause, be the change you wanna see in this life. It's very inspiring

My favorite Lupe song is Coulda Been ! I love all his unknown music... and I especially like this song because it is very deep and meaningful. He lets the listener know that everyone has a role in life, no matter who you are, or where you are... you are doing something that reflects the type of person that you are.

FAVOURITE SONG? JUST ONE?!!!!!!!? OUCH "Hurt Me Soul" because this song captures the overall mislead plight of mindkind whilst detailing current issues/ills that faced society at the time. STSO LUPE!!! ...ALL THE WORLDS ILLS, SITTIN ON 24 INCH WHEELS

My favorite song is Sunshine. It reminds me of the time when I was in love with a girl when I was about 9 years old. One day, our teacher told us to practice writing to others by giving each person in the class a sentence or two. So I wrote to her, "The moon is gray, the sun is bright, you are my moonlight and you are my sunshine." After 2 years or so, I found out about Lupe Fiasco because one of my friends started calling me Lupe or Lu due to my last name being Lu. He told me about him and how he was very different than the songs people hear on the radio. That's about the same time I stopped listening to the hiphop radio stations. After a few weeks listening to his album The Cool, I was anxious to hear more, so I came to his first album, Food and Liquor. After a few more weeks, I noticed something familiar about the song in the album called "Sunshine." Then I remembered my little poem I wrote to a girl a long time ago. So that's the day that it became my favorite song.

Words I Never Said because its about the problems that the world is facing. Great hook too and Skylar is awesome!
lquenga's picture

"He Say She Say" because that song is so real. Lupe is the best when it comes to rapping about things that are actually meaningful.
jrablao's picture

Favorite song? Definitely "Words I Never Said" because it definitely speaks the truth--it has no boundaries or limitations to the lyrical content and is definitely on another level compared to other songs that are currently dominating the top 100 on iTunes.
Fierce Sack's picture

Hurt me soul is my favorite because it sends a powerful message on everything that is wrong in the world.
SuperTom806's picture

"SLR" may be my favorite because it's 6+ minutes of the sickest rapping I've ever heard, and it's almost like a "Dumb it Down" Version 2.0. F&L 2 is going to be dope!
GMundo's picture

There are soooo many songs worthy of being favorites but if I have to pick one it is Words I never Said! It's a totally different concept than The Cool and F&L which I both loved but this song is so intelligent and shows that hip-hop is not totally consumed by sex and drugs. Lupe really shows how smart he is and the third verse on this track is extremely inspiring to me. It really gives me the confidence I need to get my voice out there with no fear of being judged. Plus the video for this song is way to sick!

The Cool is definitely my favorite. It really showcases Lupe's incredible talent, the way in which he is able to tell a story via song, and a great, intriguing, and somewhat creepy story at that. There isn't another rapper alive that could do a song like that, and that's why it and Lupe are my favorite.
jbjoker18's picture

this is FORD TOUGHH but i'll go with the cool becuase its the song that got me hooked to lupe...but there are sooo many i mean come one the coolest, dumb it down, daydreamin, hip-hop saved my life, kick.push you get the point

Beautiful Lasers for sure from lasers. It very deep and touches you where most hiphop doesnt

"Words I Never Said," because I find the song very inspiring and powerful. It reminds me of a poem I wrote over a year ago regarding the current political turmoil and the war in the Middle East. I am against the whole bullshit Bush started and that Obama seems to be continuing, so I'm happy that a rapper discusses the faults of society. I admire Lupe Fiasco even more now because of that song.
