CONTINUED ^^^ He say she say is a song about a kids troubles in school without his dad in his life, and hes got something missing. The first verse is in the voice of his mother, second verse is the voice of the son (both are the same verses lyrically just in different tenses.) Really dope song, love lupe always will... in his song "Dumb it Down" He said "they told me I should come down cousin, but I flatly refuse I ain't dumb down nothing " ...even though i felt like a few of the songs on LASERS was dumbed down if you listen to the verses and not some of the chorus's its still the same old lupe... GOTTA LOVEHIM

Beautiful Lasers! I feel like I can relate to Lupe in this one and it helps me get through the hard times.

Fighters. Such an inspiring song to always go on. Love every verse. Always liked when Lupe and Matthew Santos worked together.

My favorite Lupe song is "Dumb It Down." Listening to the lyrics in this song just shows how intelligent his ryhmes are and how they tell him to dumb it down so he can sell more records. He is one of the smartest emcees out. This song has a awesome message that he aint gonna dumb down nothing and I strongly agree with that message because he is unique. Can't wait until Food and Liquor II.

My Favorite Lupe Song RIGHT NOW wouldnt really be a song he did but his freestyle for Tim Westwood.. H.A.M. freestyle, if you havent heard it listen to it now!!! I like this so much because i really think freestyles can show a real artists talent and skill, lupe kills the freestyle and you know it wasnt written before because he's talking about the H.A.M. beat and rapping with westwood... he's on a different intellectual level than so many rappers and H.A.M. freestyle shows how much he can think of off the top of his head and its insane.. look at some other artists freestyles on westwood for example.. lil wayne's he couldnt even put a couple lines together and he's suppose to be goood???? com' on son... So the HAM freestyle is what i like right now, but for my favorite song ever by lupe... it would probably be "He say, She say"

Us Placers, because it just shows you just how far ahead of the game he is.

My favorite Lupe song is Real because the beat is just unbelievably fresh and it was the song that got me hooked on Lupe Fiasco music.

The Cool This my stepfathers favorite song before he passed away, and every time it comes up i cant help but remember him. Sometimes i think that maybe he knew he was on his way out and thats why he chose that song. Either way Lu manages to bring me and my stepfather back together again when that song comes up.

Fighters- it allows me to just think about what really is important and not get bent out of shape over things that many people worry constantly about...peace and love to all Lasers and Lupe!1

LUPE'S THE BEST

Hurt me Soul. I love the flow of the song and Lupe's message in it!

My favorite Lupe song would have to be the cut he did,"Welecome Back," for his man Chilly Mac. It showed how he was at a point in his life were he felt like he made it and was so happy that all the pieces were falling inot place. Even though he didnt necesarilly go in lyrically the song just exuded the emotion and joy he was feeling, and whenever I rock that track it makes me feel the same.

Personally my favorite song is Sunshine. I've been to a couple Lupe concerts and never heard it live because it's a less known song but I can sing it word for word and can relate to that song in many ways.

Hurt Me Soul. It's such a powerful depiction of life. The production is amazing, the rapping is incredible, everything is perfect. Definitely one of my favorite Lupe songs, easily one of my favorite songs of all time. Other favorites are Dumb It Down, Failure, All Black Everything, and Us Placers.

Tough call! It'd be a two way tie between Never Forget You and Stereo Sun. Never Forget You really hits home because I have felt and gone through what is discussed-love is a strong emotion and I feel like he accurately describes what one feels after losing a loved one. John Legend adds the finishing touch to the song by using his emotion-filled voice to leave an impact with the words "I'll never forget you." Stereo Sun isn't well known but it tells a part of Lupe's life and getting an insight into an artist as talented as Lupe is rare and should be appreciated whenever one gets the chance to see through that said artist's own lense.

Streets on Fire because it helped explain the story of Michael Young History. The productions was amazing and the flow was great, but the most important reason I consider it as my favorite Lupe Fiasco song is that its lyrics were so intricate I could find new things in the song during every listen.

I would have to say, my favorite lupe fiasco song is daydreamin, because the energy just makes you feel like getting up and doing something with your life. No matter how depressed I am, if I put on daydreamin and have a cup of coffee, I'm ready to go to school and beast out a 10 page research paper.

I really like "Fighters". I don't know what it is about it, but that track always mellows me out.

Favorite song would have to be "Hurt Me Soul", because it summarizes my relationship with Hip Hop, and besides lyrically being one of the most well-structured songs in the genre ever, it helped my put words to an affection many of my closest ones did not understand. Growing up in a suburban white home with emphasis on Rock, Metal and such, Hip Hop was usually considered a lesser artform, something I found hard to accept. Lupe is in effigy what Hip Hop should be, and always have been for me, and this song is the essence of that message.

Personally, one of my favorite songs has got to be "Intruder Alert." The lyrics depict three types of "Intruders" regarding, love, hate and contradiction between the two from certain events such as rape, homelessness and immigration. I see and hear these events going on everyday and I respect the way you convey this imagery throughout your song. Shout out to Sarah Green for being the encore to this song with her solo. Very deep song and my favorite.

Gogo gadget flow. Love the hook.

Words I Never Said is my favorite Lupe song. It speaks the truth, and Lupe is not afraid to speak his mind. He doesn't care what other people think of him. My favorite lines are I think that all the silence is worse than all the violence fear is such a weak emotion that's why I despise it We scared of almost everything, afraid to even tell the truth so scared of what you think of me, I’m scared of even telling you. it is so deep i love the song.

Either " The Show Goes On" because its a good feel good song, that will be played for years to come, or " Words I Never Said" because it raps about real things going on in todays society. It just too hard to pick they really both sound amazing.

Damn. Its too hard to choose only one song. All of Lupe's music is so good, he is so consistent. Off of Food & Liquor, my favorite tracks are "The Instrumental", "Daydreamin", "The Cool", "Kick Push". Off of the album, "The Cool", I love every single track lol, but my favorites gotta be "The Coolest", "Hip Hop saved My Life", "Streets on Fire", "Dumb it Down", "Paris Tokyo". Let me stop there before I write the whole album lolllll...off the Lasers album my favorite tracks are "Letting Go", "All Black Everything", "Never forget you", "Break the chain", "Words I never said"........and lets take it to his Enemy of the state mixtape, "So Ghetto", "The One", All the way turnt up", "Thank You"...mann....I cant wait for that food & liquor 2....Lupe is the mann. Keep making that good music, support lupe all the way. We are Laaserrrsssss...much love from Brooklynn, NY!!!!

Mean and Vicious; because it basically gave someone who has never heard Lu before a summary of him: intelligent metaphors, crazy wordplay, and a lot of confidence.

hip-hop saved my life- a song with real meaning to it. I cant see lots of people relating to this that music saved there life. Not only physically, but spiritually providing them with something meaningful
rdervan258's picture

My favourite at the moment is "All Black Everything". Lupe shows us his dream of a perfect world and the images are just beautiful - "Martin Luther King read the eulogy for him Followed by Bill O'Reilly who read from the Quran President Bush sends condolences from Iran Where Fox News reports live That Ahmadinejad wins the Mandela Peace Prize"

Daydreamin is my favorite song. Ight! so check it...i put the song on...as i listen it a mini movie plays in my mind, for each line he says i love to think of it as a different scene that goes along to it and with that being said this song is my #1 of many by him, that allows my imagination to flow in this amazing cinematic adventure. and thats why "Daydreamin" is my favorite song by Lupe fiasco
