Hurt Me Soul is by far my favorite song! The lyrics really got to me. This was one of his first tracks that made me a huge fan!!

Daydreamin'. I remember the first time I heard it. It was the first track by Lu I ever heard driving around in my brother's car. It was just so perfect. A warm California day made perfect with the perfect lyrics from one of the best lyricists this world has ever seen. I instantly fell in love with his music and have since seen him live four times so far.

Lupe is legitimately ridiculous (in the best sense possible) and my favorite rapper. It's hard to pick one but I really like Switch. He shows his versatility and his crazy messages. As an immigrant myself, I respect the duality.

My favorite song by Lupe has to be either the song "Ignorant S***" that sample the Biggie beat, SLR, or Words I never said. The beat to Ignorant S*** is awesome! And the whole song to SLR is great as well. Words I never said has an awesome message behind it and a killer video!!!

"Beautiful Lasers" because during his show, Lupe said, "I wrote this song when I was in a very dark place... If you or someone you know is depressed. Get help or be the person they can talk to." And that really meant a lot to me. Thank you Mr. Fiasco.

My favorite song? The Show Goes On. Why? Because I connect with that song the most. It always reminds me that no matter what happens, The Show Goes On.

The Instrumental (slight edge over Daydreamin' for me). It's such an intricate song, and one can draw so many explanations or theories on what the lyrics can potentially mean. However, I love the author's explanation as well.. From Wasalu himself, on The Instrumental: "The removal of the voice is a very deliberate act and speaks to the act & idea of interpretation itself." As I listen to the song, every time I can depict a clear as day image of what he's describing in the verses. And I could listen to the bridge on repeat all day: "And you can't tell me just who you are / You buy new clothes just to hide those scars / You built that roof just to hide those stars / Now you can't take it back to the start" ..The beat from Shinoda, and Matranga on the hook makes this amazing song perfect in my mind.

My favorite song is Beautiful Lasers (2 Ways) because it gave me the words I couldn't form myself when my ex-boyfriend was trying to commit suicide "all you see is all your flaws & wrongs and all I see is all your rights". It also helps me when I feel broken and like it'd just be so much easier for me to just give up but then I remember the people who'd be in so much pain if I didn't suck up and endure my own pain. They're the ones keeping me alive.

My favorite song is the instrumental. I love this song because one it never gets old, and two its really deep and makes me think about the message behind the song. Can't wait for Food and Liqour II, peace out.

When I drive in my car whether it's driving to school or just to a store I gotta have some Lupe playing and my fav song to listen to by him is Stereo Sun just because the beat is amazing and his words in the song just get me pumped up no matter how bad of a mood I'm in

Hip hop saved my life...me and my homie rap every word of the killa flow that lupe spits, and its messae is damn powerful. hit me with one of those posters

Kick, push: song's the first I ever hear from him and years later it still never gets old to me. Song's impossible to get sick of. I definitely enjoy it more since he brings up skating since I grew up on a skate board and now live on my long board. Literally the whole time he talks about skating and yet it's also talking about being with the girl as well. It's not a depressing song or too up beat it's just that happy medium that gets it going.

The Cool is the highlight of Lupe's career in my eyes, but since Lasers is out now I have to say "All Black Everything" is my favorite song right now. The beat is too smooth with the violins and everything, and Lupe's verses are hilarious to think about. Amazing song with a real thought provoking idea. Def #1 right now

And He Gets the Girl because it is truly the nerd's anthem of rising up against all the odds and getting the girl of his dreams. The song has a playful feel to it, but also sends a great message to be comfortable in your own skin, because in the end, everyone has something desirable to offer to the world-something that Lupe often preaches. This song is an inspiration to all that sometimes don't feel comfortable with themselves, and encourages you to celebrate yourself.

Lupe has been one of my favorite artist in a while and while going to see him in concert and doing multiple school projects based of his music, i would have to say that all of his music is relatively amazing so Its hard to choose one but it would have to be streets on fire, because the meaning and lyrical flow of it is amazing, it tells so much in one song. FnF up
