My favorite song by lupe would have to be never forget you because this just reminds me of my life and all the people that mean so much to me and this song just showed me that I need to show the people that have always been there for me through my rough times in life and that I want them to know that I will never forget them.

"Beautiful Lasers (2Ways)" is my top favorite song by Lupe because of the lyrics. They're so inspirational; I feel like Lupe is describing exactly how I feel when I hit rock bottom, and he knows what he needs to say. When I listen to this song I see the light at the end of the tunnel. The hope that times will get better as long as I believe in myself and keep pushing forward. I can relate to "Beautiful Lasers (2Ways)" on a level unlike any other song I've heard before. Knowing that Lupe felt the same as I feel at times and seeing how he is still going strong, I know I can go strong as well.

my favorite song is Dumb it Down from The Cool. I am sick of today's hip hop artists rapping about shallow topics and degrading women. Lupe challenges them with this song and shows that he will stay steadfast in his clean, deep, and morally sound lyrics. Keep it up Lu!

Favorite song has to be "The Cool", one of the best tracks I've ever heard. The imagery and message the song conveyed was too real and I loved it. I was disappointed he didn't perform it at his show in NYC a couple of weeks ago, I was in the crowd hoping to hear that song in particular...but either way he killed it! FNF UP!!!!!

Failure. From Street Smart mixtape. Lyrical genius, 5 minutes of pure lyrical wit, metaphors flying all over the place. First heard it after i scoped lupe on Touch the Sky then scoured youtube for some track and found this gem. I have had the song for 2 years and its been heavily played; yet i still discover new parts which leave me breathless. Spent too many times in front of the mirror miming that song, well worth it

Gotta reach back in the records for this one . . . "Failure". I mean, c'mon . . it's a song you listen even NOW and still pick up more meanings/metaphors/double meanings/triple meanings . . . a true full-meal of just how truly amazing Lu is on the mic. People need to check out his older tracks . . rapping about corruption and injustice didn't just start. This man's been a revolutionary since he got in (and overtook) the game.

I think its IMPOSSIBLE to just pick one favorite song, so I'm gonna have give a quick breakdown on my top 5 :) BMF: I love the switch up into POSITIVE lyrics, shining some light on people like Malcolm X and Martin Luther, verses Big Meech and Larry Hoover. And the idea of "building minds faster" is just beautiful. Words I Never Said: Who doesn't love and respect a song that speaks nothing but the truth?! (You want the realness? Well, I gotcha!) Go To Sleep: (#1 on my itunes with almost 800 plays!) :D CRAZY wordplay and metaphors! It seems like I catch something new every time I listen to this song. This is an eargasmic song at its greatest. Put You On Game: The lyrics and the way Lupe dictates the words is incredible. His style of rapping is so unique, unlike anything I've ever heard before. This song has a flow thats on a whole 'nother level of UNTOUCHABLE. Beautiful Lasers: Lyrics that cut so deep, its been a LONG time since I've had a song that touches my soul the way that this one does. I love to see the positivity and bright energy that came from such a dark and negative time. Remember, love always shines

Little Weapon - the subject matter of the song is important, influential and is a very important matter in today's society

Lupe the killer, because the lyrics are dope and the references are too good. Everything from the sample to his flow are entirely him, and I really respect that.

My fav Lupe song is...aaahhh.. all his tracks are #dope, esp. because they all relay a message and meaning. Right now I been feelin "Comin Up." That track speaks to young ladies about what is real in their situation...but from a male perspective. We get a lot of info bombarding us from our female artists and media about pressing onward, fighting the stigma, and saying "its ok, you got this. Don't let them think you're weak" toward esp. the African American female population. Let alone, a lot of demeaning lyrics and graphics, saying that our worth relies in these things. But when I first heard this song, it was a real relief to here a guy, let alone a African American male, speak about what the ladies struggle with and not make demeaning lyrics about it, yet rap about seeing the situation and offering to help. Letting us know that help will be there and it's ok to accept it. I believe Lupe has a message in his heart that he wants to give to the world. I hear it throughout the album. I can't wait to see amazing things happen for him. Maybe our paths will cross one day. Keep up the great work.

Building minds faster (BMF) is my favorite lupe song. Its so hard to pick because every song he makes is instantly my new favorite but I love BMF because he speaks the truth. Words i never said is also a great song because he speaks what he thinks and most rappers nowadays just rap about stupid crap but lupe realizes what the public needs to hear and how to rap about current events and educate the population. Rappers need to take notes from this guy because without lupe hip/hop would be in big trouble. LUPE FOR PRESIDENT!

My favorite Lupe song is "Little Weapon." The reason being is that it really speaks to me and my passion for Africa. It brings to light with brutal imagery the reality of a war torn continent. It's hauntingly brilliant as the song is sung through the perspective of a very young soldier who has been forced into this world. He's a monster, but not by choice, he's a monster because it's what's necessary to survive. The last verse is one of the most brilliant in the entire song as it contrasts a first world nation's youth with the youth of a country who is torn apart by political strife. It's an incredible song with a message that needs to reach everyone.
