I don't want to care and Words I Never Said have to be my favorite. I don't want to care has a catchy beat and chorus, and Words I Never said is just so powerful with its word and being an American Muslim it's nice to hear someone defend against the people who don't understand what being a muslim is really about.

Most of them are favourites at different times of the day/week, at the moment Streets On Fire totally rocks my A70s. It's in the same mood as Babylon is Burning by The Ruts but way way waaaaaaay smoother.

"Hip Hop Saved My Life" off of The Cool.. It reminds me every time I hear it that hip hop saves my life everyday. Lupe is a lyrical genius, his skills show big time in this song.... Keep coming hard Lupe, there's a lot of us that need your music to get through the day.. thanks for keeping me sane with your insane rhymes

My favorite song has to be "The Show Goes On" for many reasons. It was in my opinion like a victory Song after the whole struggle to release Lasers. Lupe poured his heart on that song and let everyone no matter what situation you may be in, good or bad, the show goes on. FnF Up!

Words I Never Said Reason: the song has so muchmeaning to it. I have been listening to it non stop since it was released.

The Coolest -- this song best demonstrates Lupe's ability to personify his thoughts & feelings The description of how initially, he's completely infatuated by this 'woman' and the promises she speaks (i.e. "she says, that she will give me greatness"), but then realizes by the end that 'she' took advantage of his naivety Songs like this are the reason why rap artists are capable of reaching larger audiences than their 'genre' intends -- the lyrics are delivered as 'hip-hop', but speak a much larger message

Man theres just to many to choose from, but imma have to go with " The Die ". I like how it doesnt even feel like a song... its more like a story because the characters are talking to each other setting up a plan to kill MYH or giving a warning to MYH about being killed.

My favorite song off of "Lasers" is Words I Never Said. I know this choice won't be unique from a lot of others, but I just believe it s a testament to how strong and powerful the song truly is. I have never witnessed someone go as hard as you on the song and present a message with such passion and fire. You see the world for what is and are not blinded but the deception governments across the world use to undermine their people and to oppress them every single day. I firmly believe if everyone heard this song it would open the eyes of many people out their to the real problems we as a WORLD community face. You are unwavering in your devotion to enlighten your listeners, and you prove this in Words I Never Said. Thanks for impacting my life in the way you did, much love.

"The Instrumental" Outside of the vocals and instrumentals, I enjoyed the stance the song takes when it embraces a third person point of view; most rappers stay in the first person which makes their music more self-centered and selfish. Instead, this song doesn't empower the emcee, but focuses on someone else. And...well, it's just a great song. (:

My favorite Lupe song is "Beautiful Lasers (2 Ways)". I listened to the snippet for this song before the album came out and during those 30 seconds of the song, I knew I was going to love it. I feel like I am in the song when I am listening to it and the lyrics have so much meaning.

"Kick Push" this song is amazing because it entals a love story that is connected through skateboarding. The song is catchy and makes me want to grab a skateboard and rip it up.

"Paris, Tokyo" because it's laid-back, chill and I'm a jetsetter

"Mean and Vicious" because it was one of the first Lupe songs I heard way back before F&L came out. The way he points out how each verse feels inferior to the one that came before it and feels like it has to prove itself as a contender for the best verse. This just leaves three impeccable verses that is hard to choose he best one out of.

For me it's Gold Watch It really speaks to me in that it shows us that possessions do not make the man. As Lupe says "The most important parts are the ones that are unseen the wings don't make you fly and the crown don't make you king" Also the beat is absolutely sickkkkkkk.

Words I Never Said: Being an American Muslim I find it hard to stand up and voice my opinion about all of the misrepresentation of Muslims around the world. The world complains that Muslims are not voicing their dislike of extremist actions and in the process cause the world to hate Muslims even more. I attended high school in the small and conservative town of Huntington, West Virginia and have experienced the ignorance and misinformation that has been spread by the government and the media. This song was a source of inspiration for me to push back me tears, pain and sorrow and move forward and fight against those forces that want to harm people. Again, this song is about the voice of the PEOPLE: be it Muslims, Christians, Jews, White, Blacks, etc. Its lyrics will ring on from generation to generation and why you might ask... because one man, one Muslim, one person had the courage to speak out and let his voice be heard. Cheers to you mate!!

All Black Everything. It's more imaginative than any song I can remember recently, Lupe's lyrics are smooth and just bonkers all over the place.

Hurt me Soul - One of the best songs I have ever listened to, speaks the truth about all of the worlds problems and ills and speaks about revolution that is occurring in rap. It makes you think what is happening with this place we call Earth...favorite line of the song: "Hennessy and Hypnotic swallowin, hydroponic coughin and All the world's ills, sittin on chrome 24-inch wheels, like that" Lupe "The Great"

kick push because it is the first lupe song i ever heard and because i love the story he tells with his lyrics.

Switch is my favorite Lupe song. Playing both fields of the hip hop game. His word play is ridiculously amazing.

Dumb It Down, because I'm so tired of rap being viewed as idiotic and juvenile music that is only about money, cars, poppin' bottles in the club, and bitches. I'm really glad that Lupe is not willing to dumb it down just so he can get more money. It's all about staying true to yourself.

Streets on fire is my favorite. Great lyrics, vivid pictures / storytelling, awesome hook and the production is haunting. One of my favorites by any artist EVER!

My favorite song by Lupe on his mixtapes is Didn't you know because of his smooth delivery on that joint and it was released at the pinnacle of his debut. From his albums, it would have to be superstar because it represents all the highs and lows of a musical entertainer if you take a deep look at his metaphors and anything else he puts in that song. I believe that people underate him is becuse they don't a full understanding of what he speaks about. Hip-Hop today is mainly about only swagger instead of the lyrical content that got hip-hop on the musical map in the first place.
