exposingthewicked, your point is valid, i agree with you to an extent. i don't smoke, i won't ever smoke and i don't support artists that promote smoking. but you don't have to be such a jackass about it. no ones going to agree with you if your just being an asshole. Kid Cudi makes good music and I like his music. If you don't like it, that's fine you don't have to, don't listen to it. and just because you like an artist doesn't mean you support all of the messages they promote. smoking is a choice that Kid Cudi made. Hes living life the way he wants and hes not forcing anyone to smoke. yeah, he influences the youth but he's not the only one. would you rather he made fake music that's against smoking even though he does it? He makes real music and if you cant recognize and respect that then why do you even listen to music? Your just part of the unthinking minority. stop acting like your better then everyone and either be positive, or leave. being a negative asshole doesn't accomplish anything

exposingthewicked youre trying too hard. i understand what youre trying to prove and thats cool but you should respect kid cudi as an artist although you may not respect him as a person. he is creative and has worked hard to have gotten to where he is. and if youre really concerned about educating our children and promoting good morals there are much better ways than over this website, your not gonna change many opinions with your keyboard ;)

Exposingthewicked. You are a complete homo. Smoking weed does not destroy you unless you let it do so you fucking idiot. Kid Cudi enjoys to smoke weed and hes more successful than you will ever be so shut your mouth. Dont bash people for what they enjoy to do. Just cuz you know one fuck up, you think you know the world. I myself smoke weed all of the time and I am getting really good grades in college. I agree with the youth looking up to these people but in the end, they dont have to do drugs. That is their problem if they are going to be followers. Dont bash an artist just because they do drugs because I can bet you that plenty of the artists you enjoy do plenty of drugs themselves. So please just shut the fuck up and enjoy the music. If you dont like it then dont listen. Music can be whatever an artist wants to make it.

Exposingthewicked, you have a valid point. The youth looks up to many of these artists. When they see them doing drugs, drinking alcohol, etc., our society may find it more acceptable. I definitely see the changes in my area from when I was a kid to now. Though, it sucks; music is still expression. People make quality music by being themselves, and expressing themselves. Smoking marijuana is a lifestyle choice, and affects everyone differently. As for Lupe posting this on his blog, I see him as an open minded guy. I don't personally know him, but that is what I conclude from hearing his music. He posted up a video of another artist he respects and disregarded his own personal beliefs. It is all love and respect at the end of the day. For all we know, Lupe didn't even post this. Again, you have a completely valid point. But don't bash on other people for their beliefs. You know what you stand for, and express it with a positive attitude. If you truly want to spread your thoughts, no one will listen when you only offer negative attention.

lupe is my favorite artist but i still listen to people like cudi. i think he's different and thats cool. everyone is different and i think we need to be a kinder people. i think its funny and i like it because thats how me and my friends are some nights. we smoke so what we have a good time together and laugh. we act how we want and dont worry about what others say. people can say what they want im still in school and making something of my life. i just dont like when people say its all bad cause in my opinion its not, people who arent mature just look at it wrong and use it wrong.

dont call me a hypocrit and i dont support rappers such as lil wayne or jay-z. I am sorry that many kids do not have parents but that is just the world we live in. i want it to change and try to influece others to be good. i like lupe for his lyrics and how they make me think. i came from a high school that is was very multicultural and saw how kids threw there lives away but they had a chance not too and many supporting teachers that tried. i now go to a school that is quite the opposite and not many kids are not like me here but still like cudi and listen too him. my point is we all have a choice. my mother came here from another country with very little not even knowing the language and had to fight for where she is now and wht she gave me.

i dont approve of smoking weed but this video was funny to me. I have never used hard drugs and never will. the truthe is only 1 out of every 100 people that smoke use coke and even less use other drugs such as heroin. im not picking any conspiracy theory at all and i dont know how im being a hypocrit. and apparently your friends are idiots if they get fucked by it and smoke all day everyday.

you all are crazy. smoking is a social thing that you can do with your friends. you laugh enjoy yourself and relax a little from the pressures of the world. there is little harm that you are doing to your body. it makes you question the wrongs of the world and it really turns you into more of a pacifist so chill out if you dont do it that cool ur choice
